BNB Chain to Collab With Google Cloud to Bolster Web3, Blockchain Startups

The BNB Chain was formed in February 2022 by the merger of the BNB Beacon Chain and the BNB Smart Chain. The blockchain network is Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible, allowing for the development of multichain ecosystems.

Binance’s BNB Chain smart contract blockchain platform has partnered with Google Cloud to support Web3 and blockchain startups. Startups currently developing products and services on the BNB Chain blockchain will be able to use Google Cloud’s scalable, secure, and open source infrastructure. Over 1,300 active BNB Chain-based decentralized applications (DApps) from the worlds of decentralized finance (DeFi), Metaverse, blockchain games, and nonfungible tokens will gain access to both platforms’ tools and infrastructure.

These projects will also be able to use Google Cloud for data encryption and real-time analysis of on-chain data. A key takeaway is providing a platform for developers and projects to scale offerings using carbon-neutral cloud infrastructure. The collaboration will also provide specific Web3 builders from the BNB Chain ecosystem with access to the Google for Startups Cloud Program. This includes projects chosen for the BNB Chain’s Most Valuable Builder (MVB) Accelerator program.

The Google for Startups Cloud Program provides Google Cloud credits to early-stage businesses for up to two years to help them establish and grow their projects. Web3 developers will have access to Google Cloud Startup Success team members as well as the firm’s technical subject matter experts in data management, data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and zero trust security. Participants will also have access to Web3 developer workshops, as well as Google Cloud training and certifications.
