The metaverse will provide immersive, engaging learning opportunities in a variety of settings in the future, including formal organizations and schools, lifelong learning, corporate training, and personal development. Children can already learn by transporting themselves to different locations and times via immersive VR and AR technology. We’ve already seen this in Poland, where teachers are teaching science using the VR game Half-Life: Alyx.
